Many people experience difficulties or problems at some time in their lives and at such a time, it is quite normal to seek help. Counselling provides an opportunity for you to talk to someone who is trained to listen and to help you in a supportive way. Counsellors at A.C.E.T.S. will encourage you to develop awareness of your thoughts, feelings and needs.
Our confidential and professional services are offered by experienced and trained counsellors.
Our Approach to Counselling
If you decide to use our counselling services, you will be introduced to one of A.C.E.T.S. professional counsellors and you will be offered an initial 60 minutes session. This is the first opportunity for you to meet with someone who will offer you privacy and confidence on what is discussed.
It is also an opportunity for you to discuss what you expect to gain from counselling and for you to assess whether you can both work together. You might like to ask some questions and to find out some more about counselling. For example, the number of sessions per week and the time allowed per session.
Remember, we are all Human Beings and have experienced difficulties or problems at some time in our lives. Our counsellors are approachable and always readily available to provide encouragement and a “listening ear”. So please feel free to contact us at your own convenience. There are people on hand who you are able to identify with and who are trained to listen.
